Frisky Sour played roller derby with the Bleeding Heartland Roller Girls and Rose City Rollers before retiring due to the nine-month injury (a.k.a. pregnancy). She also coached in Rose City’s Fresh Meat program. She’s finally putting her degree in English to good use by writing and self-publishing Roller Derby for Beginners. She writes about roller derby and manatees at littleanecdote.com. Some day soon, she hopes to get back up and running with recreational derby with Rose City’s Wreckers. Then we’ll see, as the baby is kind of the boss.
